What the transcript puts on the table.
DMA Asia was one of the first events where I received a personal award which was the DMA Asia Marketing Influencer Award and that was an emotional high point for me because that really recognized personally what I have been able to do and contribute in the marketing domain.
Having benefited professionally and personally I recommend DMA Asia to all marketers.
I'm very thankful to DMA and earning that award inspired me to move and work even harder to earn further trust of the marketing community.
Original context. Current reading.
Recorded in 2021, this captures the language, platforms and constraints of its time. Read it now by separating those period-specific details from the enduring operating question: how should relevance and attention improve the decision?
Durable tests for the work.
- Start from the customer’s situation, not the channel.
- Earn attention with relevance before scaling reach.

I have been happily associated with DMA for over five years now. DMA's network brings together the best voices from advertisers, publishers and tech solution providers to deliberate on relevant issues in the marketing ecosystem. What really makes them unique and stand out for me is their event format and the pre-event expectation mapping that helps derive meaningful outcome for all stakeholders and attendees. DMA Asia was one of the first events where I received a personal award which was the DMA Asia Marketing Influencer Award and that was an emotional high point for me because that really recognized personally what I have been able to do and contribute in the marketing domain. Of course
before that at DMA and other forums as well for the work that my company and we did we had won several awards but this personal award I think made it very very different and unique for me that gave me that personal recognition of putting in so many years of work which was widely recognized by my peers and marketers as something that was very valuable to earn. So I'm very thankful to DMA and earning that award inspired me to move and work even harder to earn further trust of the marketing community. Having benefited professionally and personally I recommend DMA Asia to all marketers.
