IP06 · HOW MARKETING HAS CHANGED

Original context. Current reading.

Recorded in 2021, this captures the language, platforms and constraints of its time. Read it now by separating those period-specific details from the enduring operating question: how should attention and relevance improve the decision?

IP07 · TIMELESS RULES

Durable tests for the work.

  1. Earn attention with relevance before scaling reach.

I'll share a few of them. Swiggy is one of our largest clients out of Bangalore office and we've been partnering with them for the last five plus years and we partnered with Swiggy and Universal Music and we created a music video around Shukriya Karay. So this was the whole thought was that it was a tribute to all the delivery heroes. The whole emotion that we were trying to bring out was that while we are sitting at home in a completely protected environment there is somebody who's making us do that and let's let's pay that tribute say thank you to that person who has been helping us in these very difficult times. Other one I would mention is that we partnered with the

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Transform Rural India Foundation to create a whole campaign around wearing masks because this was a time when the thing had not yet coming so the only protection was masks and washing hands. Third one that I would want to mention is for Tata Motors. Again while we were all at home the truckers were the ones who were making our lives and they were the ones who were getting the supplies from across so there was a campaign that we created around thank you truckers and it was all around the fact that showing the difficulties that these truckers were going through while they were traveling during these times of pandemic how they were having their own families at risk but working for the sake of the nation.

Three are very close to my heart and I thought I would share them with you. you
