THE BIG IDEA
On the work front, of course, I think it is really about how I can help inspire a large team of people to really take Oracle's transformation and make it successful in the country.
FOR MARKETERS

Three takeaways worth carrying forward.

  1. 01

So Prasad Rai as a person is someone who is forever trying to look at doing something new.

  2. 02

And therefore we really look for people that come from startups, that come from born-in-the-cloud companies, that come from companies that have been nimbler, swifter, and are able to execute at a faster pace.

  3. 03

They may not be deep technologists, but they really believe in how technology can transform the world, transform businesses, and deliver value to individuals and companies and governments.

So Prasad Roy as a person is someone who is forever trying to look at doing something new. Three things about AI that marketers should know today. The first thing is artificial intelligence and machine learning, which sometimes go together, is not something new. It's been around for decades. Except that now we have vast amounts of computing power and data. And therefore we can blend both of those things together and really get outcomes out of that. B, for marketers, they really need to understand that it is for them to go through a use case process.

What is the problem I want to achieve? What is the objective I want to meet? And how do I use this emerging technology to be able to use that? Third, be patient. Because it's still an evolving technology. That's right. But more importantly, it's about how this man and machine comes together to pick out the right approaches. Who are these right people in terms of what is the talent mix that you have currently on Oracle? One part of my question. And how has it evolved from a couple of years? We really look at people who love technology.

They may not be deep technologists, but they really believe in how technology can transform the world, transform businesses, and deliver value to individuals and companies and governments. And therefore we really look for people that come from startups, that come from born-in-the-cloud companies, that come from companies that have been nimbler, swifter, and are able to execute at a faster pace. Because with the new technology, you know, the cloud, artificial intelligence, all of that, things are just panning out very, very quickly.

And you need people that are able to talk about that and move at a speed to help the customer understand the benefits of adopting those things. Right. So what are some of the humane qualities you look for when you're hiring somebody? One of the things that I really look for is, you know, a learning attitude. Because our industry landscape evolves very rapidly. So I need people that have, that are curious. Right. That are interested in learning. Right. Right. And that has to be a continuous process. That is one area.

Second is really about the go-getter attitude. They are the kind of people that say, hey, this is something that's new. Let me go and talk to the market and help them understand the benefits. Right. They pick things up for us. They don't look at it having been proven. But they are able to go and take that to the market. The third thing, the humane quality is, I think, about we are looking at people that are able to make a quick assessment and say, okay, this is where the opportunity is or it's not there.

If it's not there, they just move on to the next area where the opportunity is as compared to invest more and more time. And maybe the results are much better when you move on to someplace new. Who is Prasad Rai as a person? So Prasad Rai as a person is someone who is forever trying to look at doing something new. Right. Trying out newer things and experiencing something that I haven't done before.

On the work front, of course, I think it is really about how I can help inspire a large team of people to really take Oracle's transformation and make it successful in the country. Thank you.
