We are super excited to have Ramesh Iyengar, the founder of Select Direct Marketing, as our speaker.
He was honoured by DMAi (Direct Marketing Association of India) as the First Inductee in the DMAi Hall of Fame in 2012, instituted on lines like that of DMA USA. Ramesh was conferred the award in recognition of his pioneering status in the Direct Marketing industry, for being an Industry spokesperson at many fora, his sustained training and development of Direct Marketing personnel, and for helping businesses produce success using DM and CRM, for over 3 decades.
Ramesh began his career 35 years ago at Lintas India. Later at Trikaya, in a span of 8 years he quickly rose to be a part of the top management team of India’s most creative agency of its time - which then became Grey India. He learnt Direct Marketing with Grey Direct, New York in 1987.
In 1991 he founded Select Direct Marketing - his own DM agency, which remains a leading independent Direct Marketing agency in India, spanning over 25 years. Ramesh has championed many successful direct marketing and Loyalty campaigns and has advised over half of the Best Brands in India as surveyed by ET and InterBrands. He has developed a robust model that evangelizes CRM.
