A marketer/business manager with about 18 years of work (over 10 years of leadership work) in agencies, media and consumer marketing companies. I take pride in labeling myself a digital immigrant, who gave up a very successful career, built on, what we today refer to as conventional marketing solutions. I did it to learn and practice business in the new age of media and products, in a world where the mobile phone is fast replacing the Television set. I stand at a point now, where I believe I am a complete, category agnostic marketer, business leader and consumer thinker.
While I’ve based a career largely out of India, much of my work has involved multi-cultural/country work that has constantly guided my need to work in different cultures, environments and people.
Through-out my career I have been surrounded by sales professionals, creative professionals, leaders and business managers and have successfully straddled different functions. I have constantly challenged myself with the new and the unknown and my career possibly reflects that. I have led high performance teams and have been part of (and led) multiple growth stories.
Businesses that are created by strong Brands and built on the foundation of consumer thinking drive my interest and passion.
