I am a journalist, Executive Editor at CNN-News18 and author of Mother, Where’s My Country? Over the last few years my reportage has focused on the intersection of conflict, gender, human rights and development. My work can be found on anubhabhonsle.com.
I anchor and steer prime time debates and special shows.
My time at CNN-News18 has been one where I had a chance to frame, lead and structure many high impact social campaigns. The Citizen Journalist show started with an idea to democratize the news space and has now redefined the news flow in many ways. My team has gone on to win three consecutive times at the Asian TV Awards.
I am a sum total of many things, I feel strongly on matters of reportorial rigor, challenging the status quo, equality and matters related to media and women. My 17 years as journalist and Editor have given me valuable lessons in leadership, innovation, empathy.
I recently published my first book, a work of non fiction titled Mother, Where’s My Country? It arcs the life of Manipur and it’s people that live in the shadow of guns and a draconian law. The book is available on Amazon http://amzn.to/23BRW9y
