The DMAi CMO Choice Awards was instituted by DMAi (Association for Data driven Marketing & Advertising India) in 2015.

In the third edition of the DMAi CMO Choice Awards, our mission is to recognise the work perfectionists & the most trustworthy partners for services. The CMO Choice Awards cuts through the marketplace clutter and provides with quick & easy access to insights to understand the industry-wide perspective on the most trusted vendors/agencies.

Marketing professionals are actively seeking a deeper understanding of the marketing services & technologies that can help move their businesses forward.

As marketers leverage agencies & digital technologies that drive revenue, innovation continues to flourish. With new startups emerging every day and innovation trends constantly changing, the industry has been challenged to make sense of it all. However, most simply don’t have the time or resources to be as informed as they would like.

The CMO Choice Awards help marketers stay on top of the ever evolving marketing & advertising landscape. Brands who stay at the forefront of marketing innovation win. However, in today’s landscape, knowing which services & technologies to leverage and which to ignore is a challenge. By streamlining the process and creating the first industry measurement standard for marketing & advertising services & technologies, we’re making the process both easier and faster. As an objective review source, we empower marketers with the tools and standards they need to arrive at decisions quickly, efficiently, and with the support they require.

The CMO Choice award will be given across following categories:

-Other Marketing & Advertising function enablers

Phase 1: A countrywide survey. Target 500+ CMO as respondents across 8 categories of services and supplies to the Marketing Ecosystem. This is to identify and invite additional new annual subscription members of the DMA who also can present.

Phase 2 : Commencing 2017, DMAasia annual subscribers are invited to pitch to a large group of Senior CMO’s who act as Jury. Pitches have to be completed in 15 mins. There will be no Q&A Round. Overrun of pitch & pitch format not followed leads to straight disqualification.

Phase 3 : Jury Verdict
Concept of Jury Weight to Jury Index : Each Jury Member is decided a Jury Weight to score. This is to have a balanced score The Jury Weight is decided on the following parameters as self disclosed by the Jury Member and reasonable due diligence by the secretariat. Jury Weights include parameters like Total Years of Experience, Current Turnover of Enterprise, Marketing Investment for 2017/18

The CMO Choice Award Competition is open to all –
Agencies – Creative, Digital, Advertising, Media, Mobile, Content, Analytics, Data, CRM & Loyalty, PR & Communication Outfits
IT Software & Solution Companies
Printing & Publishing Houses ‘’

Video/presentation guidelines

Pre Jury Presentation/Video:

This video requires to contain five sub-sections. All five are mandatory.
a) History, Agency Lineage and About Us and Key Personnel: 60 Seconds
b) Products / Services / Solutions Suite: 60 Seconds
c) Our Best Work: 180 Seconds
d) Client Testimonials (Max of 5): 60 Seconds
e) Most compelling reason: 60 Seconds.

Pitch Day Presentation/Video:

This section requires to contain the exact presentation/video that you would like to present at the Pitchathon! Maximum Presentation Time will be 15 Minutes.

Please note *The file that you submit here shall be played by a Mac Book at the Pitchathon. Please check for any format compatibility issues before you upload your presentation here as no revision to this shall be accepted later. No material on pen drives shall be entertained.

The program is governed by an eminent Jury with a Jury Chairperson. The jury chairperson is supported by Regional Program Council.
There will be only one winner in one category/sub category combination.

I). Scoring vis Survey – The Results of survey will carry weightage of at least 10% on scores.
500+ CMO’s across the cities are invited for survey. Basis the responses filled up by CMO’s the average score will be compiled on the scale of score out of 10.
II). Physical scoring by Jury – The entrant will get opportunity to pitch across 3 cities in presence of 100+ CMO’s.

Situations :
● In case of a tie on Jury Results, the program council casts the vote.
● In case of tie on program council results, the Jury Chairperson has the casting vote.
● All results are forward to DMA secretariat for ratification & acceptance.
